Supportive Independent Living (SIL)
A placement option and supports for young people aged 16 – 17 years of age to prepare for young people to develop living and social skills so they have the confidence to live independently.
The Supported Independent Living Service model is a step down from the TSIL and ITCH Service and provides a supported transition to independence.
During this stage the Leaving Care plan would be implemented and the After Care Plan would be confirmed and be ready to commence when the young person leaves care.
Places are offered in the Illawarra, Shoalhaven and Goulburn.
