Induction / Training for Volunteers, Student Placements and Casual Staff
Southern Youth and Family Services (SYFS) welcomes interested participants who want to:-
- Become a volunteer
- Become a volunteer which may provide work experience and lead to paid work in any of the areas SYFS operates including Illawarra, Shoalhaven, Southern Tablelands (Goulburn) and Capital (Queanbeyan) Regions.
- Complete a student placement in a related course including International Student Placements.
This is a course that aims to provide new and potential Volunteers, Students and Staff with essential information about the Organisation, the structure, philosophy and policies.
All interested people who are selected for the course must be have a current Working With Children Number and provide permission and identification for Federal Police Checks to be carried out. Participants must also hold a current drivers licence and have access to a fully comprehensively insured and registered vehicle.
