Help the Environment and Help SYFS
Did you know that more than 160 million drink containers end up as litter in NSW each year?
To help reduce litter and care for our environment, Southern Youth and Family Services (SYFS) has joined the Return and Earn Initiative as a major charity partner.
Return and Earn is the largest litter reduction initiative in NSW and supported by the NSW Government.
The program provides a 10 cent refund on all eligible drink containers to create a substantial reduction in litter.
As a major charity partner, SYFS can now receive donated refunds from people returning eligible containers at TOMRA Cleanaway Collection Points in the Illawarra.
Funds raised will be donated to SYFS and help disadvantaged children, young people and their families across the Illawarra and will make a significant difference to their lives.
You can get involved by returning empty bottles, cans and cartons to one of the Reverse Vending Machines listed below and by selecting “Sthn Youth Family Srv SYFS” as your preferred charity.
