Local Aboriginal Elders Visit SYFS

In August a group of about fourteen Aboriginal Elders and some of their partners attended SYFS for a tour of some of the Services, to hear a presentation on SYFS and to share information and perspectives on what will help young Aboriginal people and their families. This was a positive and very interesting and valuable exchange. Lunch in the cafe was provided. Singer songwriters Shellie Morris and Troy Brady arrived in the Illawarra that day and called in and troy did an impromptu performance for the elders which was wonderful.
