NETWORK - Wollongong
A pre-employment program for young people 15-24.
The focus on communication, social and personal development and employability skills to allow young people looking for employment or training, to develop skills that assist the transition towards employment and or further training, resulting in fulfilling careers and sustainable livelihoods.
The 12 week program includes;
4 Week Program (2 days per week), which includes;
- Youth focused Interactive workshops with a focus on communication, social and personal development and employability skills.
- Practical hospitality skills training to gain knowledge and practice working in commercial cafe.
- Working in teams to complete tasks
4 weeks Assistance and support to connect and engage with other training providers and or employers.
A further 4 weeks post placement support to help stay engaged.
The Program can provide additional supports including case management, referrals, and ongoing support through SYFS NETWORK Program.
