Oak Flats
The Parenting Program focuses on the achievement of positive outcomes in child development, behaviour, safety, physical and emotional well-being, the child parent relationship and childcare competency. The Program supports families in the Shellharbour local government area with vulnerable children, aged 0 to 12 years.
This Service is offered in the Shellharbour local government area, can visit you in your home, other community venues or our office and provides:
- Evidence-based parenting skills education (Circle of Security and Abecedarian activities education)
- Cool Kids (anxiety management program for children and parents)
- Information and referral
- Practical assistance, advice and support
- Assessment, goal setting and case planning
- Basic counselling
- Liaison with other services
- Advocacy
