Specialist Intervention For Youth - SPIFY

This Program targets vulnerable, disadvantaged and homeless young people in OoHC aged 12-23 years. SPIFY provides support to workers in the field of early intervention. It liaises between the Community Sector and South Eastern Sydney and Illawarra Area Health - Mental Health Service.

SPIFY provides a range of services including:

  • Assessment and referral
  • Support and advocacy
  • Information clinical supervision and consultation in casework training, education and support to community and services staff
  • Assistance in the development of Behaviour Management Plans in consultation with direct care staff, management and the young people
  • Advice and supervision for direct care staff
  • Liaison between OoHC staff, management and external agencies and Government Departments

 

Funding Information:

SPIFY is self-funded by SYFS.
